DescriptionBenish GUARD — is a new generation product, a modern car security system. The company has been operating in Ukraine since 2003, and during this time has released several successful applications and services for vehicle tracking and monitoring.
Task and realisation
The customer came with a finished application that had not yet been launched. Another company was involved in the development, but the design of the application did not fit the requirements and the customer did not like it. The decision was made to completely redesign the style, almost from scratch.
Decision
The application should be as simple and easy as possible, so that any user can understand the work. At the same time, it is important to adhere to the general style of the company, for which we were provided with a brandbook.
Design development
We conducted a comprehensive competitor analysis, served up the pros and cons of similar apps, created a click map and basic user scenarios. After that, we updated the UX of key screens to improve usability.The design style of the main screens was chosen in two shades: there is a dark and a light theme. Such solutions are favoured by the audience and are in line with the overall design of Benish.
New solutions
Animations accompany alarms and other alerts, which is interesting and attention-grabbing.The designer created a new splash screen that opens the app.The security system, password entry, changing it and logging in to the application has been worked out.Inside Benish GUARD now has its own map to track the car’s movements.Redesigned settings menu and notification display.
