ren-med.com.ua — a medical-equipment store on OpenCart: moved off the old site, kept the indexed pages
We built a new OpenCart store for a medical-equipment dealer: a deep catalogue with filters, an SEO-ready category structure, a move from the old .htm site with 301 redirects, and a CRM integration. The store runs at ren-med.com.ua.

Move a large medical-equipment dealer to OpenCart without losing old URLs
Renesans-Medical is a large dealer of medical equipment: from fixed-price consumables to complex medical systems quoted per project. The old site ran on static .htm pages, looked dated and scaled poorly for a large catalogue. The task was to build a new online store on OpenCart and move the live catalogue onto it without dropping the old indexed pages.
The hard part was the catalogue and the move, not the design
A medical-equipment dealer has a mixed catalogue: some products carry a fixed price, others are complex systems quoted by an expert. On top of that sits a live old site with indexed .htm addresses. So the priority was a catalogue that both filters and indexes well, and a move that would not make search engines lose the old pages.
Medical catalogue on OpenCart
A tree of categories and subcategories: sterilisation and disinfection, surgical instruments, operating and examination lights, autoclaves, obstetric beds, containers and trays.
Product filters
We set up catalogue filtering so a buyer narrows down a large range of medical equipment to the exact item quickly.
An SEO catalogue, not a showcase
We gathered keywords for categories and subcategories and prepared optimised copy — the structure was built for online-store SEO from the start, not bolted on later.
Move off the old site + 301
We mapped old .htm addresses to the new URLs and set 301 redirects to keep the indexed pages and their link equity.
Clean URLs (NeoSeo)
The NeoSeo module turned catalogue URLs into readable, SEO-friendly addresses across both languages.
CRM integration
The cart and contact forms feed the client’s CRM: requests reach the sales team, and we added a callback button on top.
Two languages: RU / UK
Two language versions of the catalogue with correct URLs and SEO copy per language.
Sale prices and training
Sale prices show on the product card (old price struck through, new one highlighted), and we trained the client’s team to run the store in the admin panel.
The store is live and running at ren-med.com.ua
It took about two months from design to launch. Today ren-med.com.ua is a working medical-equipment store on OpenCart: a filterable catalogue, an SEO category structure, a CRM integration and old addresses preserved after the move. From here the catalogue keeps filling out and growing for search.
Traffic and ranking data are tracked separately in GA4 and Search Console. This case covers only the work actually delivered on the project.
Product card, categories, cart
A product card with a gallery and specs, a sale badge and a cart; categories with descriptions and filters. All on OpenCart, built for a large medical catalogue.

Just as usable on desktop and on a phone
We built the mobile version around real use — the home page, catalogue and product card work correctly on every screen and in modern browsers.

What we built it on
We did more than build a storefront: we moved a live medical-equipment catalogue onto OpenCart — with filters, an SEO category structure and old indexed addresses kept alive through 301 redirects. The cart and forms feed the client’s CRM, and the team can now run the store on their own. From here the catalogue grows for search.
